Early Intervention is intended for infants and toddlers who have development delay or disability. The term development delay is an important one in early intervention. Broadly speaking, it means a child is delayed in some area of development. There are five areas in which development may be affected: 1. Cognitive development 2. Physical development, including Vision & Hearing 3. Communication development 4. Social or Emotional development 5. Adaptive development As part of this program, GiftAbled has been able to support the growth of children with Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Disability, Autism, Blind and so on and so forth. GiftAbled's purpose is to drive these programs with partner organizations in remotest and most backwards regions of our country, where the need is most.
