This initiative is designed to empower rural communities, with a special focus on persons with disabilities, caretakers, acid attack survivors, transgender individuals, underprivileged groups, and single women. By equipping them with employable skills, we strive to foster self-sufficiency and economic independence.
In collaboration with local resource training centers, our program provides skill-based training, enhancing their employability and creating livelihood opportunities for both them and their caretakers.
The core objective of this initiative is to improve the quality of life for marginalized communities. This is achieved through life skills programs, workshops on disability laws, and training to strengthen marketing and financial knowledge. Through these efforts, we aim to empower individuals and help them lead more independent and fulfilling lives.
2.21% of India’s population are disabled, accounting for 2.68 crore individuals which include 20.42 lakhs children aged 0-6 years and 69% of them live in rural areas. Only 2% of these People with Disabilities have access to need based rehabilitation services.Svastya aims to bridge the gap with its presence to provide services to all individuals, even to the most rural areas of our country. Our approach is based on the guiding principle of Who’s community based rehabilitation and international classification of functioning.
GiftAbled is offering over 30 courses designed for youth with disabilities, with 1000+ participants enrolled across technical and non-technical subjects.
Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities by equipping them with industry-relevant courses, enhancing their employability. All courses are fully accessible, ensuring inclusive learning for all.

Aspirational Districts
Represent 15% of India's population, yet they have received only 2.5% of total CSR funds historically.
Uttar Pradesh (UP) is home to several aspirational districts that are part of this initiative. According to NITI Aayog, the performance and development metrics for these districts are as follows:

Through her craft, Dhanalakshmi not only empowers herself but also inspires others in her community. Ramsha
Ramsha, a 5-year-old with Intellectual Disability (ID), faces daily seizures, yet she has shown remarkable progress through therapy.
In the past three months, Ramsha has gone from nonverbal to saying a few words, reduced drooling, improved attention, cognition, and eye-hand coordination. She now follows commands and points to objects. Physiotherapy has helped her achieve neck control, improve hand function, start walking with support, and sit cross-legged with hand support. Her journey reflects the impact of dedicated therapy and care, paving the way for greater independence.

Suneeta, who lives with a locomotor disability affecting both her legs, once felt trapped by her circumstances. With no education, no vocational skills, and limited mobility, her days were filled with uncertainty and self-doubt. She longed for a chance to learn, to grow, and to change the course of her life.
That chance came when she connected with the GiftAbled Foundation. With their support, Suneeta began learning the art of stitching. From the basics of handling fabric to mastering detailed patterns, she embraced every lesson with dedication and determination.
Today, Suneeta skillfully stitches customized shirts, shorts, frocks, and school uniforms for children.
